I just wanted to tell how much I enjoyed your High Heels Boot Camp. It was everything and more than I expected it to be. This was the best thing I could have done to give me that extra bit of confidence I needed.
You are a fantastic teacher with the ability to communicate in a way that everyone could understand, the technical aspects of what you were teaching at the moment. I also thoroughly enjoyed the time you devoted to the mental preparation. Your enthusiasm is absolutely contagious and it made this intense workshop so much fun.
I look forward to doing another Boot Camp in the future.

Since I started taking dance lessons in November of 2008, I have had the privilege of receiving private coaching from Kasia Kozak during two of her visits to Birmingham, Alabama. On both occasions the instruction was top-notch and professional, and that, combined with much encouragement, made the experience invaluable to me. So when I was given the opportunity to attend Kasia’s “High Heel Boot Camp” I couldn’t resist. My expectations of Kasia were high because of what I already knew about her talent as a dancer and the quality of her teaching.
But what I received during this intense and fun “High Heels Boot Camp” definitely surpassed my expectations! Over the course of 15 hours I discovered just how much dancing involves every part of your body working together, and the important role good fitness, confidence, balance, and your own personality play in the making of a quality dancer. You learn much about ballroom and latin dancing while at the same time you gain valuable life lessons. Kasia left nothing uncovered and was very organized in her approach. Not one minute was wasted. And our sore feet and bodies were evidence of that!
What’s obvious to me is that Kasia puts her heart and soul into teaching. She brings her world class dance experience, her education, her whole life experience into the boot camp and we reap the benefits. You can’t help but get to know Kasia during such an intense three days where she is “in your face”, yet this was the bonus! She is smart, funny, poised, gracious, and of course, talented. But it’s clear her focus is not on her talent, but on the progress of each lady who attends her boot camp. She addresses our specific needs throughout the weekend - using relevant examples, offering practical tips - and she desires that we leave with a wealth of understanding, encouragement, and confidence in our ability to be strong dancers. This has certainly been true for me! I am grateful to know Kasia and grateful to her for this unforgettable experience!

Attending Kasia’s High Heel Boot Camp was one of the best things I have ever done for my dance. Kasia is an amazing teacher and beautiful dancer. She is able to break down fundamental steps and presents in a way that makes so much sense. During the three days of her camp, she covered everything from proper body stretching and foot exercises, to posture, mental dance preparation and attitude, and most of the rhythm/latin dance fundamentals (rumba walks, cha-cha lock steps, turn technique, etc). This course is a must and is beneficial for those at all levels of dance. Personally, I am glad I attended as a Bronze beginner because I think Kasia really helped me develop good dance habits and technique early on. She is a delightful lady and she makes the three days a JOY. The small class size allows for much one on one interaction with Kasia. Looking back, I think attending the HHBC was one of my favorite dance experiences and it certainly was a very cost-effective way to have intensive training with one of the top Latin professionals in the world.

I have been ballroom dancing now for nearly 13 years. I have enjoyed competing both at the amateur and pro-am levels. Currently I compete in the American Smooth and Rhythm at the Open Gold level. In February, I went to San Diego for Kasia's High Heel Boot camp. I had watched Kasia dance and was a huge fan but had never been coached by her, nor did I know her.
Always striving to improve my dancing, I decided that a weekend working on just me and not having my teacher to lean on would be great. My teacher was very supportive so I signed up. I wasn't sure what to expect but was looking forward to learning something new.
Kasia taught us theories and techniques that don't just fix this or that step but fix my own body in everything I do.
She gave us building blocks to be able to diagnose and fix my own dancing.
She also spent time with us outside of class, letting us learn from her own experiences. No question was taboo. From tanning to practice clothes, pre competition preparation to everyday exercises. We talked about partnering and confidence, competitive mindsets and loving what we do.
Kasia was able to teach us not only about dance, but also in her own way, about life.
